Welcome to Woodland Park Cooperative Preschool!
The Woodland Park cooperative community of schools includes a 3-5′s, Pre-3, 5′s Program, and summer program in the heart of the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. Our schools are best described as a cooperative, play-based curriculum, one that starts from the premise that children learn best when given the opportunity to freely engage with the world around them, pursuing their own passions and curiosities in a community setting.

All classes and programs are lead by Teacher Tom Hobson. Tom has been Woodland Park’s teacher since 2002. He creates a classroom environment full of innovative, original activities that allow the children to explore and learn at their own pace. Teacher Tom believes school should be a place for children to prepare themselves for the bigger world by experimenting with friendships and society, exploring emotions, and ultimately discovering her or his own power within the community.
